Caroline being so worried about what she might have done to avert the fight is a fine example. If the characters were actually a little more falliably human, she would be laughing as loud as Charles about the fight and even reveling in it a little.I also found out the one thing that's wrong with Michael Landon. His goofy, screeching laugh. But as long as we get to see his naked back sometimes, I will learn to deal.After watching this episode I got curious about Katherine MacGregor, the actress who played Mrs. Oleson. So I did a little research on her. I guessed she was a theater actress and I was right. And I thought it would be hilariously funny if she was a sweet, quiet soul in real life. Not a chance. She seems very self assured and is reported to have had a wicked sense of humor on set that won over all the kids in the cast.____________________________________________________ From Anne — Good to see that in real life, MacGregor and Richard Bull really enjoyed each other and enjoyed working together.What's difficult about this episode, though, is watching Mrs. Oleson get mushy, Nellie act contrite, and Caroline treat Mrs. Oleson like a friend. As if we've entered a parallel Little House universe. Thought it was funny that even the great Rev. Alden couldn't work any magic to get them back together.I was waiting for the end when Nels actually enumerates what he loves about Harriet. Her crabbiness obscures a soft heart? She's great with figures? Not sure that's very convincing, but hey … maybe she was good in the sack. Sorry, that's gross.On a serious note: did anyone see this essay in the L.A. Times Review of Books (via Salon.com) by Caroline Fraser about the Tea Party's co-opting of Little House? The article even references Landon's bare chested-ness! Worth a read…
